Shipping Policy

Orders under £100.00: £5.00 (Royal Mail Signed For Delivery).
Orders over £100.00: Free (Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery).

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 working days. Once the item has been shipped, you will receive notification and the relevant tracking information.

We are only able to ship to addresses in the UK and currently do not offer a click and collect service.

Please note, items marked 'In-Store Only' are not available to purchase online due to brand restrictions.

Our Commitment to Quality

At Brufords in Eastbourne, we pride ourselves on the quality of our luxury timepieces and fine jewellery. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. This policy applies to all items purchased online via brufords.com.

Statutory Cancellation Rights (Online Orders)

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the DMCC Act 2024/2026, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason.

• Notification: You must notify us of your intent to return the item within this 14-day window by emailing enquiries@brufords.com.

• Return Window: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item to our Eastbourne showroom.

Condition of Returns & Security Tags

To ensure the integrity of our high-value inventory, Brufords in Eastbourne operates a strict condition policy:

Security Tags: Many of our luxury watches and high-value jewellery pieces are fitted with a visible, non-removable security tag. Please inspect your item thoroughly before removing this tag.

Tampering: In accordance with your statutory rights, we reserve the right to reduce your refund (up to 100% of the value) if the security tag has been removed, broken, or tampered with, as the item can no longer be sold as 'Pristine' or 'New'.

Standard Condition: All items must be returned unworn, in their original packaging, with all documentation (including warranty cards, certificates, and instruction manuals) intact.

Non-Returnable Items & Exclusions

For legal and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:

Bespoke & Personalised Goods: Any item made to your specification, engraved, or significantly altered (e.g., a ring resized specifically for you at the time of order).

Hygiene Exclusions: For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned if the original sealed packaging or hygiene seal has been opened or tampered with.

In-Store Purchases: Items purchased in person at our Eastbourne showroom are subject to our in-store returns policy (displayed at the point of sale), which differs from our online policy.

How to Return Your Item

Please return your item, along with your original proof of purchase and completed returns form, to:

Shipping: We recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery (fully insured). Brufords in Eastbourne is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us.

Costs: Unless the item is faulty, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and verified by our specialists, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 3–5 working days.

Delivery Charges: If you return your entire order within the 14-day statutory period, we will refund the standard outward delivery cost (£5.00 where applicable). Enhanced delivery costs (such as Saturday delivery) are non-refundable.

Faulty Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a 30-day "short-term right to reject" for a full refund if your goods are faulty. After 30 days, we will offer a repair or replacement in the first instance.
