Introducing the Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 UK Limited Edition

Breitling celebrates its underwater credentials with the Superocean Automatic 44 UK Limited Edition, inspired by the iconic 1960s Slow Motion.

Published on 5th March 2026
In the 1960s, as scuba diving surged in popularity, Breitling set out to create the clearest, most legible dive watch possible. The result was the Slow Motion, a radically paired-back design that removed anything not essential to underwater timing. Clean lines, squared off hands, bold luminescent indexed and a high-contrast dial ring defined its graphic, unmistakable look.
The Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 UK Limited Edition retraces those celebrated design codes while introducing modern engineering and a distinctive limited-edition design. A deep-green ceramic bezel is paired with an anthracite rehaut and black dial, creating a sharp, high-contrast aesthetic designed for absolute clarity. The ceramic inlay offers lasting colour and scratch resistance, while broad Super-LumiNova® hands and indexes ensure exceptional legibility in any light.
Water resistant to 300m (1,000ft) and engineered to withstand shock, sand, and saltwater, the Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 UK Limited Edition is built for confident performance beneath the surface. A folding clasp with up to 15mm micro-adjustment allows comfortable wearer over wetsuits - or simply adapts seamlessly to everyday life.
Limited Edition to 500 pieces, one of which is available here at Brufords, this Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 model is exclusive to the UK retailers.
